Your data is stored on secure servers in India (AWS Mumbai region). We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Desktop and mobile apps store data locally on your device, which syncs to cloud only when you choose. We perform daily backups and maintain 30 days of backup history. 4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information in these limited situations:

With your consent or at your direction
With service providers who help us operate (hosting, payment processing) under strict confidentiality
To comply with legal obligations or court orders
To protect rights, property, or safety of Billman, users, or public

Delete your data: Request account deletion and we will remove all data within 30 days

Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails (service emails still required)

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze usage, and improve the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your subscription, we retain data for 90 days to allow reactivation, then permanently delete it. We may retain some data longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., dispute resolution).

Billman is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Transfers

Your data is stored in India. If you access the Service from outside India, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in India. We ensure adequate safeguards are in place.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the new policy.
